What You’ll Need:
1 tsp Kyūka Hōjicha powder
1 tbsp Bacanha Lavender Syrup
200ml milk of your choice (oat milk works beautifully)
50ml hot water (around 80°C / 175°F)
How To Make It:
Whisk the Hōjicha: In a matcha bowl, sift your Kyūka Hōjicha powder. Add hot water and whisk using a chasen until smooth and slightly frothy.
Prepare the Milk: Froth your milk slightly with an electric whisk for that luscious, barista-style texture and add 1 tbsp of Bacanha Lavender Syrup. Adjust to taste—start small, the floral note is potent and delicate. Once it is ready, add your ice.
Pour and Enjoy: Add your whisked hōjicha over the milk and ice. Give it a gentle stir or let the layers swirl naturally.
